The Fall of the Duke, the prequel novella to The Shattered Crown, officially releases this April 20th on Amazon. This is a story I’ve had in my heart for a long time — one that sheds light on Duke Varian Morgrave’s rise and ultimate unraveling. If you’ve read The Shattered Crown, you already know how deeply his shadow hangs over Caelan’s story. Now, it’s time to see the fall from the Duke’s own side.

At just over 100 pages, this novella is short but intense — packed with tragedy, betrayal, and the first sparks of rebellion that ignite the war to come.
