The Noble Houses of Atherra (So Far)

Varestal

House Drakemore (Royal House)The dragon is both guardian and destroyer, a symbol of royal might and divine right. The crown entwined within its coils reflects the Drakemores’ claim to rule by flame and blood. All of Varestal’s destiny flows from their line.
House Morgrave (Lords of Kalandor)Discipline and strength are their creed. The gauntlet is unyielding, the sword decisive — together, they represent the iron order by which House Morgrave forged its power in the west. Their loyalty is given only when earned.
House Marcentis (Lords of Trade)Commerce is their weapon, the open palm offering both fortune and ruin. The waves show their dominance over ports and rivers. House Marcentis thrives where others falter, wielding wealth as power.
House Alden (Lords of the Marshlands)From swamps and marshes, they endured where others would drown. The reed symbolizes survival, the spears defiance. House Alden’s strength lies in patience and resilience, outlasting every storm.
House Veylan (The Ash-Blooded)Once touched by magic, House Veylan bears the legacy of fire and time. The flame recalls a lost lineage, while the hourglass whispers of fate slipping away. Though thought extinct, their name lingers like smoke in the ashes.
House Kaelor (Forgemasters of Ironholt)From fire and steel, they shape destiny. The hammer and anvil are their tools and their power, representing not only smithing but the forging of armies. House Kaelor believes strength is crafted, not inherited.
House Thorne (Wardens of the Forest)Their roots run deep, as unshakable as their watch over the wild. The tree is both guardian and weapon, its roots binding the land. House Thorne remembers what others forget — and waits for the moment to strike.
House Veyric (Lords of the Coast)Explorers and shipwrights, they are the lifeblood of Varestal’s coast. The prow cutting waves reflects their mastery of trade and sea. Their loyalty rides the tides, but their ships are unmatched.
House Corvane (Keepers of Secrets)Watchers from the shadows, House Corvane is ever vigilant. The raven is both messenger and omen, flying where others fear to tread. They endure, silent and sharp-eyed, where kingdoms falter.

Vassaria

House Solvaris of VassariaThe sun represents the divine fire of survival, while the plow reflects the empire’s agrarian roots — every soldier once a farmer, and every field a battlefield. The Solvaris see themselves as chosen to rule by the harsh will of the sun.

Aerona

House Karveth of AeronaThe wolf embodies the endurance and ferocity of Aerona’s mountain clans, bound together by blood-oaths. The axes symbolize strength through struggle, their people’s belief that only the strong deserve to rule.

Iskania

House Thalross of Iskania – The wave reflects the eternal freedom of the seas, while the stars guide sailors through storms and darkness. The Thalross banner represents prosperity through trade, but also vigilance against pirates and rivals.

Thalyric Dominion

House Bryndor of the Thalyric DominionThe leviathan represents the peril and dominion of the northern seas, while the trident is the weapon of kingship over the waves. House Bryndor claims mastery of both tide and terror.

Caeroth Vale

House Valcorin of Caeroth Vale The falcon is swift, regal, and merciless, embodying the knightly aristocracy of Caeroth Vale. The sword reflects the duels by which succession and honor are decided — their law is strength, their right proven in combat.

Zerathane Confederacy

House Zerathane of the ConfederacyWealth is power in Zerathane. The scales represent fair trade — or the illusion of it. Their unity is fragile, bound only by profit.

Rhazamir Sultanate

House Rhazamir of the Sultanate – The sun signifies divine rulership beneath the Sacred Triarch, while the crescent reflects the desert nights that shaped their caravans and culture. To House Rhazamir, wealth and unity are born beneath the sun’s unyielding gaze.

Isle of Serrath

Corsair Captains of Serrath – No crown commands Serrath. The skull reflects their defiance of kings, while the oars declare that their ships are their true thrones. They honor no law but plunder and the sea’s freedom.
